Shore Court garage

Confirmed The Vintage Vice City Pack includes a personal garage at Shore Court, a stone’s throw from the Ocean Beach sand. It has a weapon locker and a secure place to leave stolen goods to be fenced, and it comes with the ’55 Vapid Stanier. An official screenshot shows guns and a bag of cash on the Stanier’s back seat.

The Ocean View Hotel and Vice Beach

Confirmed The pack’s key art shows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, in their 1980s looks, under the neon sign of the Ocean View Hotel.

On screen The same pink neon hangs over one of Rockstar’s Vice City stills, where officers from a patrol car lettered VICEBEACH POLICE make an arrest while a woman takes a selfie.

Reported The community map calls the beach island Vice Beach and places the Ocean View Hotel and the Dominion Hotel there, from Trailer 2 shots at about 2:07 and 2:06 (frame numbers at 30 frames a second). Our state map follows it. On screen The Dominion Hotel’s sign is readable in its frame, above a crowd dancing on the corner.

The beach in the stills

Reported The community map pins four official Vice City stills to its Vice Beach island, and our map shows them together.

• On screen Still 05: a lifeguard stand on crowded white sand, a quad parked beside it, a man sweeping with a metal detector and high-rises behind.
• On screen Still 02: a couple on a balcony above a hotel pool, the beach and the sea beyond.
• On screen Still 06: the Vicebeach Police arrest under the Ocean View neon, a vertical DIXON sign further down the street.

Our read

Our read Ocean Beach and Vice Beach are probably not rivals. A town called Vicebeach with its own police, and an art deco strip called Ocean Beach inside it, would fit the livery, the community’s name and Rockstar’s text at once, though Rockstar has not said so. The Ocean View Hotel recalls the hotel of the same name in the 2002 Vice City.
