Logger Beer

Overview

On screen Logger Beer is the first drink on the fridge menu in An Extended Look. When Jason opens the fridge in the home he shares with Lucia (07:14 to 07:24), the menu reads Logger Beer, Lavazas Beer, Blitz Berry Smoothie and Blitz Green Smoothie, with the cross-button prompt sitting on Logger.

Confirmed Logger is a long-running beer brand from earlier GTA games, back for Leonida.

• Confirmed History: a beer brand from earlier GTA games.

In the Extended Look

On screen The fridge belongs to the Extended Look’s evening at home. Jason waits for Lucia to get ready for drinks with Brian Heder, walks through the house, opens the fridge, picks from the menu and is next seen holding a drink, whose label the footage does not show. The kitchen’s pink wall is painted with a flamingo mural (07:18), and the fridge door carries Fleeca Bank and LomBank magnets, a Polaroid of a small dog and a beach photo.

Beer without a boost

On screen The menu splits its drinks in two: the beers come with no icons, while each Blitz smoothie shows a lightning bolt and an eye.

Reported TGG, who watched developers play at Rockstar North, says the HUD tracks health, stamina and focus, and that food and consumables can push those bars past their limits, according to his notes as summarized on r/GTA6.

Our read

Our read With the prompt on Logger when the menu opens, a Logger is the likeliest drink in Jason’s hand. It is the drink for the scene rather than the stats: the menu promises it nothing, and Rockstar has not said whether alcohol has an effect of its own. Its return keeps a thread to the earlier games, as Fleeca does for banks.
