Overview
Confirmed Rockstar’s own material names places where Jason and Lucia change how they look: a salon, a tattoo parlor and clothing stores, plus exclusive outfits in the pre-order bonus and the Ultimate Edition.
Reported Preview reports go further, describing bodies that change with food, exercise and sleep, and three stats, health, stamina and focus, that can be raised temporarily and permanently.
Key facts
- Confirmed Salon: Sara’s Unisex Salon, for hair, facial hair (Jason), makeup and nails (Lucia).
- Confirmed Tattoos: Electric Fang Tattoo in Stockyard, with more than 50 designs by the artist collective FAILE.
- Confirmed Clothes: Stock 305 streetwear in Stockyard, and Goodtime Gear, a capsule built around the TV character Macca the Gator.
- Reported Stats: health, stamina and focus, shown as three bars at the top left (TGG).
- Reported Gym result: bench pressing gave Lucia a 33% boost to her health stat (TGG).
Hair, tattoos and clothes
Confirmed Sara’s Unisex Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo and Stock 305 only open for business with the Ultimate Edition, which also adds the Vice City Style outfits and tattoos. Official captions show Jason with a mullet at Sara’s, a large tattoo across his back, and Lucia with a buzz cut getting a thigh tattoo at Electric Fang.
Confirmed The Vintage Vice City Pack, the bonus for every pre-order, gives Jason a pastel linen suit and a 1980s cut, and Lucia a red sequin mini dress and curls.
On screen Looks also work as disguise. The Extended Look’s item wheel (17:52) holds a red bandana in the face slot, pink sunglasses and Rod’s Racing Cap in the headwear slot, and Lucia wears the bandana over her face at 18:00.
Body and fitness
Reported Red Bull’s coverage of the Extended Look says eating a lot visibly adds weight, exercise builds muscle, and lack of sleep and stress show on the face. A magazine feature quoted in an r/GTA6 thread (August 26) puts it the same way: “Food affects Jason and Lucia’s weight, while exercising visibly builds and tones their muscles”.
Reported According to TGG, who watched developers play at Rockstar North, gyms and fitness are in depth but completely optional. Jason and Lucia can go together, have to buy memberships at the front desk, change clothes in the changing rooms and use vending machines with many options, protein shakes among them. The shakes give a stamina boost that lets them do more reps, and a fitness app shows workout times and fitness status.
On screen Trailer 2 shows a beach gym at 0:38. Reported Sportskeeda’s breakdown of the Extended Look notes a scene of Lucia bench pressing.
Health, stamina and focus
Reported TGG says the three bars can be raised temporarily and permanently, that food, consumables and protein bars can push them past their limits, and that focus slows time and reveals weak points on people and vehicles.
On screen The Extended Look’s fridge menu (07:14 to 07:24) marks the Blitz Berry and Blitz Green smoothies with a lightning bolt and an eye.
Our read The lightning bolt is stamina and the eye is focus. What you eat and drink appears to feed the same stats the gym builds.
Our read
Our read Appearance in GTA 6 does two jobs. It is style, sold through salons, tattoo parlors and bonus outfits, and it is function: a fitter body means more health and stamina, and a changed look is, by the preview reports, how you shake the police.
