Shitzu Squalo

Overview

Confirmed The Shitzu Squalo is the Ultimate Edition’s boat: a speedboat with a pink-to-blue gradient, docked at Washington Beach. Rockstar pitches it for casting in Gambit Bay and reeling in catches of all sorts, and says an explosives-laden weapons crate makes it ready for the open ocean.

Key facts

• Confirmed Maker and model: Shitzu Squalo.
• Confirmed Docked at: Washington Beach, in Vice City.
• Confirmed Pitched for: fishing trips out to Gambit Bay, a place name that so far appears only in this text.
• Confirmed Extra: a weapons crate with explosives.
• On screen Registration: VB 0522 05, painted on the hull.

In the screenshots

On screen Three official screenshots show the boat. At dusk it runs past the Vice City skyline and a bridge lit pink, two people at the helm, fishing rods in holders at the stern, a yellow scuba tank at the back, “Squalo” in script near the stern and a palm-leaf print over the teal-to-pink hull.

On screen In the second, seen from above in open water, Jason stands on the swim platform with two bottles while Lucia sits at its edge in an orange bikini. Two dolphins swim alongside, a gull perches on the arch, and a yellow scuba tank and vest wait on the deck beside a cooler.

On screen The third is a night chase from directly overhead: a blue Vice City Police boat on one side, a police helicopter low over the water on the other, and the Squalo between them.

Fishing and diving

Reported TGG asked Rockstar North co-head Rob Nelson about fishing, and Nelson said it is catch and release only, according to the top reply in an r/GTA6 thread. On screen The rods in the dusk shot and the dive gear in the dolphin shot tie the boat to both fishing and scuba diving.

Boats in the trailers and the Extended Look

On screen Trailer 2 shows a speedboat at sunset at 2:27, after an airboat at 2:18 and a two-up jet ski at 2:20. On screen The Extended Look has boats at night, a fishing trip at about 25:52 with Jason, Lucia and Brian Heder aboard, and a closing scene with Brian on the boat at about 26:15. Our read None of these boats is named, and none is clearly the Squalo.

Our read

Our read The Squalo is sold as a leisure boat with a weapons crate, and the screenshots play both sides: dolphins and dive gear by day, a police boat and helicopter by night. Our read Washington Beach shares its name with a beachfront district of the 2002 Vice City. Where Gambit Bay lies is the open question, since it is named only in this boat’s description.
