Overview

Confirmed The Classic Car Collection is one of the Ultimate Edition’s special commissions. Rockstar says the eccentric collector and local fixer Wyman sends the player after abandoned classic cars and unfinished project cars, to be brought back to their former glory. Confirmed Like the rest of the Ultimate Edition, it is threaded through Jason and Lucia’s story, with items unlocking chapter by chapter.

The five cars

Wyman’s yard

On screen Wyman’s own screenshot is set in a salvage yard. He holds up a wrench in a tank top printed “Wyman’s World Auto Salvage Co.”, with “Parts bought and sold” and a 305-555-0144 phone number underneath, and the sheds behind him carry auto parts and auto salvage signs. On screen The stars-and-stripes car and the red number 36 are parked in the dirt behind him near a tow truck, and an engine sits in the foreground with its belts exposed.

On screen The Ultimate Edition’s ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy wears the same “Wyman’s World” and “Parts bought and sold” lettering on its flank. Our read That ties the buggy to Wyman’s business, although Rockstar sells it as a separate item with its own garage.

Old cars in the previews

Reported Engadget spotted a Slim Jim lock minigame on the right stick in the Extended Look, at about 6:07, and reported key cloners for modern cars. Reported According to the r/GTA6 summary of TGG’s Rockstar North preview, many vehicles carry trackers that a fence or a Pay ‘n’ Spray can remove, not every Pay ‘n’ Spray is open from the start, and the phone has a parody mechanic app. Our read Rockstar has not tied any of this to Wyman’s cars, but a commission about abandoned project cars sits naturally beside a theft system that starts with old locks.

Mod shops

Confirmed The Ultimate Edition’s two mod shops cover the styling side: Rideout Customs for interiors, rims and donk lifts, and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida for off-road builds and hand-painted automotive art. Our read Rockstar has not said where Wyman’s restorations happen, or whether the finished cars can be modified further.
