GTA 6 wildlife
What lives in the swamps, the keys and the sea. 7 files.
AlligatorAlligators are the Grassrivers’ most famous attraction, in Rockstar’s words. Official material shows them hunted from airboats, hung in a shed, swimming past a police chase and caught on a store camera in Trailer 1.
IguanaGreen iguanas roam the Leonida Keys in GTA 6: one crosses a street in front of a mobility scooter and another basks on a rock by the sea. In the real Florida they are an invasive species.
CougarA cougar stalking deer at a stream is one of Rockstar’s Mount Kalaga stills, the only cougar shown in Leonida so far. The real state’s cougar, the endangered Florida panther, lives in south Florida.
DeerDeer live in Mount Kalaga National Park, where an official still shows a herd drinking at a stream as a cougar closes in. Rockstar sells the park on prime hunting, and hunting reportedly pays.
DolphinDolphins swim alongside Jason and Lucia’s Shitzu Squalo in an official Ultimate Edition screenshot, one surfacing a few feet from the stern. It is the only dolphin sighting in the official material so far.
Reef lifeCoral reefs with fish, an eel and a sea turtle lie off the Leonida Keys in an official still of two scuba divers, and the Extended Look sends a diver into an underwater cave.
FlamingoFlamingos run through GTA 6’s art rather than its wildlife so far: on the official cover art, as pool floats in Cal’s still and a Keys boat party, and as a kitchen mural in the Extended Look.
