Klose K17 pistol

Overview

Confirmed Rockstar names the Klose K17 as Lucia Caminos’s pistol. Confirmed The Ultimate Edition’s Personalized Weapon Variants give it detailed engravings, as they do Jason Duval’s Girardi ES9.

Key facts

• Confirmed Owner: Lucia Caminos.
• Confirmed Maker: Klose.
• On screen Markings: KL17G1 on the slide and 9mm on the frame, readable in one of Lucia’s official screenshots.
• Confirmed Personalized version: engraved, Ultimate Edition only.

The personalized K17

On screen In Rockstar’s Personalized Weapon Variants screenshot the K17 lies below Jason’s ES9 on the stone edge of a pool at night. It has a deep red frame and a silver slide marked “KL17G1”. On screen The grip carries a pink and blue rose with “Lucia” written in script above it, a heart motif sits near the top of the frame, and the Klose name is molded into the base of the grip.

In Lucia’s screenshots

On screen One of Lucia’s official screenshots shows her holding a plain K17 upright beside her face behind a door, while a man aims a pistol with a light through the gap. At full resolution the slide reads “KL17G1” and the frame “9mm”, the same model as the engraved version. On screen Not every still shows it: outside a check-cashing store she carries a smaller, worn pistol with a yellow sticker on the slide.

In the Extended Look

On screen At about 18:00, as Lucia walks up to Zekes Gadgets with a bandana over her face and a pistol in her hand, the top-right corner of the screen shows a pistol icon under the numbers 20 and 80. Our read The icon’s squared-off outline looks like the K17, and the numbers read as rounds loaded and rounds in reserve.

On screen Near the end of the video, pinned down in a close fight, Lucia reaches for a loose pistol on the floor (about 25:36), and a contextual prompt lets her use a high heel as a weapon during the escape.

What players spotted

Reported An r/GTA6 clip thread noticed that when Lucia reloads a pistol before the magazine is empty, she keeps the old magazine instead of dropping it as GTA 5 characters do. Reported A commenter added that she does not rack the slide because a round is still in the chamber. Reported In another thread, a commenter noticed that during a struggle in a store, Lucia’s gun goes off by accident and shatters a display case.

What previews reported

Reported According to the r/GTA6 summary of TGG’s Rockstar North preview, police will know what weapons you are holding, and aiming uses aim assist rather than auto aim.

Our read

Our read The name, the squared slide and the KL17G1 marking all read as Rockstar’s take on a Glock 17. Our read The engraved K17 and ES9 are a matched pair with opposite moods: a red frame, a rose and her name for Lucia, black steel and an Army motto for Jason.
