The official still

Confirmed Rockstar describes its single PTT Youngin$ image as members gathered outside the Illegal Goods Store, two of them on a motorcycle being recorded by another on a phone.

On screen The rest of the frame, at full size:

• On screen A shirtless member in the foreground leans on a green wall in pink-framed sunglasses and pink and teal gloves, a lime and pink pistol raised beside his face, gold chains on his chest and a gold grill on his teeth.
• On screen Two members on a teal and pink motorcycle spin its rear wheel inside the compound, raising a cloud of tire smoke.
• On screen A kneeling member with green dreadlocks in a yellow jersey films them on his phone while a crowd looks on.
• On screen PTT is tagged in red on the white wall panels behind them, next to a CCTV camera and a no-smoking sign.
• On screen On the right, a member in a pink beanie stands with a phone by a door marked Office, empty cans on the ground at his feet.

Our read The phone at the center of the shot is the point: Rockstar calls them socially active, and the still shows a gang that films itself. The CCTV camera and the office door hint at what a raid runs into.

What previews reported

Reported El Rubius, who watched Rockstar’s Rob Nelson play for nearly three hours, says jewelry stores can be robbed outside story missions, and that the 3D map showed one store’s loot at $15,000 to $40,000 along with entry points for planning the job.

Our read Whether the PTT compound works the same way, planned in free roam or scripted as a one-off mission, has not been shown.

Our read

Our read The PTT Youngin$ are the first Vice City street gang Rockstar has named, and so far they exist only through an Ultimate Edition bonus. A gang defined by noise and social media fits the Vice City of the trailers, where so much of the city is framed as clips filmed by its own residents.
