What happened during Perez’s livestream

Reported The first report supplied to Leonida Now is a Reddit post by u/DMONEYDelano titled “Lucia aka Manni Perez went live on Instagram”. Published on October 24, it documents discussion surrounding Perez’s appearance on Instagram Live. The post describes viewers asking about her rumored involvement with GTA 6, rather than reporting an announcement from the developer.

Reported IGN’s October 25 coverage adds the clearest figures for the broadcast. The livestream lasted about 12 minutes and reached a peak audience of more than 2,100 viewers. Perez spoke about her ordinary life, according to IGN, while questions about the upcoming game remained unanswered.

Reported MARCA USA also reported on the livestream, describing a comment section filled with questions about GTA 6 despite Perez’s apparent intention to talk about her personal life. The outlet said she avoided discussing the game because of contractual confidentiality requirements. The supplied coverage does not establish the precise terms or expiration date of any agreement.

Why fans associate Perez with Lucia

Reported Perez has been linked by fans to Lucia Caminos, one of GTA 6’s two playable leads, but the reports supplied here do not contain an official casting announcement. MARCA USA presents the identification as a fan conclusion based on the available material. That remains speculation, not a confirmed credit from Rockstar.

Our read For players following the character’s development, the unanswered question is who performed Lucia, not what the character looks like or where she fits into the story. Rockstar’s published material has already introduced Lucia alongside Jason Duval, while the performer’s identity remains unresolved in the information available to this desk.

Reported MARCA USA speculated that Perez might be able to discuss her involvement after her confidentiality obligations expire. The outlet did not supply a confirmed date for that happening, so readers should not treat the possibility of a future statement as a scheduled announcement.

The timing ahead of GTA 6’s release

Reported MARCA USA’s report points to November 19, 2026, as GTA 6’s expected release date. That date is less than a month away from the October 25 coverage, putting the livestream discussion close to launch. The report’s expectation that Perez may eventually speak about the role is not evidence that Rockstar has planned a casting reveal.

Our read With the release approaching, players may be looking for the names behind the performances of Jason and Lucia. A brief livestream gives fans a chance to ask questions, but a performer’s decision not to answer does not establish that a rumor is true. Until an attributable announcement or direct confirmation appears, Perez’s rumored connection to Lucia should remain unverified.

Context

Our read The casting discussion follows a gap already documented in our coverage of the search for Lucia’s actress. That earlier reporting noted that Rockstar had discussed the character’s performance without publicly naming the actress in the material available to the desk. The Instagram livestream has generated further attention around the question, but has not supplied the missing confirmation.

On screen Lucia’s role in the game is already established by official material. She is one of GTA 6’s two leads alongside Jason Duval, and Rockstar’s trailers introduce her story before the November 19 launch. Readers can follow the character’s known background in our Lucia Caminos profile and check the GTA 6 release date page for the published launch schedule.

Our read

Our read Our read is that this story is about the growing attention around an unconfirmed casting rumor, not a casting announcement. The viewer count and short runtime explain why the livestream became a talking point, but neither detail verifies Perez’s involvement in GTA 6. We would need a direct statement from Perez or Rockstar, or an attributable official credit, before changing the status of Lucia’s performer.
